Los Angeles and San Diego Minimum Wage and Paid Sick Leave

Both the city of Los Angeles and the city of San Diego have passed minimum wage and paid sick leave ordinances that go considerably beyond the California State law requirements. These ordinances cover not only employers located in those cities but also include employers whose employees go into and work in those jurisdictions, even on a very limited basis. If your business is located in either one of these jurisdictions or if you have employees who work in those jurisdictions,  your minimum wage and paid sick leave policies will likely need to be revised to comply with these new laws.
