Multiquip Introduces MQ POWER DCA25 and DCA45 Tier 4 Final Generators

In an October 8th press release, Multiquip announced the MQ POWER Tier 4 Final DCA25SSIU4F and DCA45SSIU4F WhisperWatt Generators. The fully lockable, sound-attenuated, weather-resistant e-coat painted steel housing allows for safe, unattended operation and provides quiet performance. Both units have an innovative, spill-containment design that protects the environment by capturing any engine fluids. The renowned operational ease of use of MQ POWER generators with the familiar, user-friendly panel-lit instrumentation and controls has analog gauges displaying critical engine functions and real-time electrical output.

The covered distribution power panel includes three-phase terminals and single-phase receptacles that allow for fast and convenient hookups for most applications including temporary power distribution, power tools and lighting equipment. NEMA-compliant GFCI 120v receptacles and industry standard CS6369 twistlock receptacles provide compatibility with existing applications.

The MQ POWER DCA25 and DCA45 generators have an automatic start/stop control that automatically starts the generator when there is a loss of utility power when used in conjunction with a transfer switch. The open delta excitation design provides virtually unlimited motor load starting capability.

The heavy-duty, 4-cycle, direct-injection, turbocharged, air-cooled Isuzu® diesel engine provides maximum reliability while the automatic voltage regulator provides precise regulation. These generators can operate continuously for over 24 hours at full load without interruption with the units’ extended fuel tanks.

Maintenance is straightforward with a brushless alternator that meets temperature rise standards for Class H insulation systems.
