Solutions by Computer Announces e-Sign Capability for Enfinity

Rental software provider Solutions by Computer (SBC) has introduced a new capability for its Enfinity system that makes it easy to capture commitments from customers who are not physically present. Enfinity e-Sign is an electronic signature capability that can be used to confirm deliveries, process rental contracts and execute other documents. Legally binding and secure, e-Sign offers complete end-to-end signature tracking.

 J.J. Shea, general manager of SBC, said, "Our Enfinity users can keep pace with their customers’ increasingly mobile lifestyles by using e-Sign. It provides both convenience and a competitive advantage. The e-Sign process is a seamless extension of Enfinity and is environmentally friendly, which is a consideration for many businesses today."

Using Enfinity, the rental operator creates the contract in the system as usual; no extra steps are required. Enfinity emails a link to the customer, who reviews the terms, line items and rates online. The customer indicates agreement by signing electronically using the link supplied. 

 The e-Sign process works with any mobile or desktop device that has an Internet browser. No special software or registration process is needed. The executed document is stored off-site, with copies automatically distributed via email to the customer and the rental store.
