Chicago Pneumatic's complete range of piston and screw compressors was shown at the Hanover ComVac Fair, including the latest belt-driven oil-lubricated CPB 12- 30kW and the larger CPC/CPD 30-90 kilowatt screw compressor. Their innovative features include new controllers designed to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Chicago Pneumatic also developed its new CPX refrigerant dryer to meet the demands for premium air quality in high-end equipment and process configurations. The new design combines proven components in a simple layout for easy servicing. The CPX can also lower energy consumption through the use of an intelligent automatic drain system.
In the professional piston range, Chicago Pneumatic showed its latest silenced canopy designs. These were developed to meet the demands of customers working in noisy environments.
"Chicago Pneumatic has a proud history of innovation," says Luis Clement, Vice President of Chicago Pneumatic Tools. "The company has a long list of ‘firsts’ to its name, from developing the pioneering Simplate valve in 1912 to developing torque-limiting pneumatic wrenches in the 1950s. It is the association of Chicago Pneumatic with rugged and reliable equipment that remains key to the company’s growth and success. This brand is definitely set to see robust growth across all European markets."
