Cat® Dealer Mohamed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar and Caterpillar to Exhibit at Middle East Energy

Cat® Dealer Mohamed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar and Caterpillar Inc. will be exhibiting at Middle East Electricity, February 7-9, 2012. Held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Middle East Electricity is one of the region’s largest trade shows dedicated to the power sector. The Middle East Electricity exhibition will be an opportunity to reconnect with existing customers and consulting-specifying engineers, as well as to discuss future projects. Visitors to the booth will be able to view the Cat 3516B generator set, which generates between 2000 and 2500 kVA at 50 Hz, and a Cat 60 kVA UPS.

Caterpillar offers a complete line of generator sets, containerized power modules and rental units to meet continuous or temporary needs. Representatives from Al-Bahar and Caterpillar will highlight the totally integrated single-source power solutions available from Caterpillar, such as UPS, switchgear, generator set controls and ATS. This simple system integration ensures that equipment is pre-configured to work together for optimum performance and supported by the global Caterpillar Dealer network. Cat gensets are designed to perform at ambient temperatures of 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit), meaning they can withstand the region’s harsh summers.

Founded in 1937, Mohamed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar is one of the leading business houses in the Arabian Gulf. Headquartered in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, Al-Bahar represents Caterpillar in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates, and in Oman through its associate, Oasis Trading and Equipment Co.
Al-Bahar and Caterpillar supply everything project engineers need to properly configure, install and operate power systems for small- and large-scale infrastructure projects – including utilities, telecom, hospitals, airports and railway – as well as many other applications.

Caterpillar will be opening a new distribution center in Dubai this year, making it even easier to fulfill customer needs in the region.
