In Memory of Orlyn Senior of Made in the Shade Tent Rentals

Orlyn Senior (August 12, 1951 – May 4, 2016) was born and raised in Jamaica, where he attended a prestigious school that taught him about business. This led him to work in hotel management at a hotel in Jamaica until he ultimately moved to California and began his life-long career with tents. He brought his business know-how and organizational skills to the warehouse of Made in the Shade Tent Rentals in West Sacramento. Here, he spent 23 of the 25 years he spent working in the tenting industry for Nancy and Donald Vasquez. Senior was beloved by all who knew him; he was a devoted father, a good friend and an excellent employee. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him misses him dearly. He was full of love and laughter, and a vital part of the MITS family. We are proud to have had the opportunity to know him and to work along his side.
