Doosan Portable Power Expands Team

Doosan Portable Power has expanded its product marketing, sales management and training teams with the appointment of four team members: Zeke Hendrix, Juan Rubio, Wyatt Franks and Michael Flynn.

Zeke Hendrix has accepted the position of government and strategic accounts sales manager. Prior to accepting this position, Hendrix served as Doosan Portable Power sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic states. 

In his new role, Hendrix will manage the growth and development of the Doosan Portable Power product line to all government customer segments. Hendrix also will be responsible for the identification, negotiation and management of strategic accounts and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Hendrix earned his master’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University and bachelor’s degree in religion from Davidson College. He has been with the company since 2004.

Juan Rubio has been named the assistant product marketing manager for small air compressors. In this role, Rubio is responsible for providing strategic guidance as it relates to small air compressor product development, marketing, distribution and new markets. 

Prior to joining the team, Rubio served as marketing consultant for Pan American Life Insurance and business information and marketing campaign specialist for Nationwide Insurance. 

Rubio earned his international master’s degree in international business from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business and bachelor’s degree in business administration from Campbell University. 

Wyatt Franks has accepted the position of assistant product marketing manager for generators. Prior to accepting this position, Franks served as Doosan Portable Power product and strategy marketing intern. In his new capacity, Franks is responsible for overseeing the development and distribution of mobile generators in North America, as well as identifying and managing new market opportunities. 

Prior to joining the Doosan Portable Power team, Franks served as strategic planning analyst for FedEx.

Franks earned his international master’s degree in entrepreneurship and marketing management from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business and bachelor’s degree in economics from Rhodes College. 

Michael Flynn has accepted the position of field service trainer. In this role, Flynn will be responsible for all on-site and off-site generator and light tower technical training for dealers and customers. 

Prior to accepting this position, Flynn provided product engineering and technical training to both General Motors and the NASCAR® Technical Institute, and most recently supported the U.S. troops by serving for two years as senior field representative, stationed in Iraq, in support of the deployment of Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected vehicles. 

Flynn graduated with a degree in aerospace engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

All four team members will be based at the Doosan Portable Power headquarters in Statesville, N.C.
