Wacker Neuson, the leading manufacturer of compact construction machines and equipment, is putting the personal experience factor into focus at the upcoming Bauma from 15-21 April 2013. Wacker Neuson will exhibit the group's entire product range in a nearly 6,000 square meter area. "Bauma is the most important international trade fair for our industry. In April of this year, we will present our customers with new and innovative product solutions that make working on construction sites more efficient, more comfortable and safer," says Cem Peksaglam, CEO of Wacker Neuson SE. "As one of the world's most important trade shows in our industry, Bauma is extremely important for Wacker Neuson."

At the Bauma, Wacker Neuson will create a world of experiences for the visitors. Within the exhibition area, there will be many promotional areas where visitors can test and experience products. Demo shows taking place regularly with impressive product presentations in combination with daring athletes will provide for additional excitement in the booth.

In the service exhibition area, all facets regarding original spare parts, repair, maintenance, warranty, used machines, telematics, training and financing will be made into an experience. This sector in particular was expanded and offers services with a significant added value for the customer. The Wacker Neuson Merchandising Shop is ready with its own Bauma collection and many new items. Under the sub-brand "Wacker Neuson Kids," Wacker Neuson will present its own children's collection for the first time.

"The Wacker Neuson fan area is a particular highlight. At Bauma, we will re-launch our customer club, which is specifically aimed at the target group of end users. All Wacker Neuson friends from the industry can register here for free and, as a member of the fan community, in the future will receive more detailed information about the company and products and also enjoy exclusive benefits that are only available to members," says Cem Peksaglam.

The product exhibition takes up the biggest part of the booth area. The group's entire product range, consisting of the business units of concrete technology, compaction technology and construction site technology with products from demolition technology, power generation, lighting technology and pumps as well as compact machines, such as excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers and compact loaders, will be presented.
The products from the group brand Kramer Allrad will be exhibited at an area integrated within the Wacker Neuson booth. The Kramer Allrad product range includes wheel loaders, tele wheel loaders and telehandlers.

"Of course, we cannot yet disclose our new products for the Bauma. However, it has already been revealed that our engineers have been working hard on improvements and innovations that were requested from the market and that offer our customers a real added value. It is quite an accomplishment, as for some time many resources have been bound to tier IV for the engine conversion ," reports Martin Lehner, Chief Technology Officer for Wacker Neuson SE.

A lot has been done at Wacker Neuson in the field of demolition technology. The proven demolition hammers will be presented with a new name at the Bauma 2013. The weight will no longer set the tone in the name, but rather, starting in 2013, the focus will be on the single stroke impact energy. The hammers BH 55, BH 65 and the technically reworked EH 75 remain the first choice when it comes to demanding requirements of professional end users. A special feature is the BH 55rw, which is specifically suited for track construction and perfectly tamps railroad ballast with a high percussion rate. Even lighter than its predecessor EH 23 in terms of weight, the new EH 50 is presented with just over 20 kg and a uniform impact performance of 50 joules of single stroke impact energy. The intelligent full-hood spring mounting allows for low hand-arm vibrations below 5 m/s² and offers the user plenty of comfort.

Just in time for Bauma, Wacker Neuson is presenting its completely revised floor saw series with four model sizes. The floor saw product range from Wacker Neuson offers blade diameters ranging from 350 millimeters, 400 and 450 millimeters up to 500 millimeters. All model versions are up to 20 percent faster than comparable devices so that the BFS series offers the highest cutting speed with a quiet operation.

In the area of lighting technology, there will be two new products at Bauma: The Light Tower LTN 6 LV is ready for use or transport in the shortest possible time, thanks to its new tower design. A new light balloon will impress through its convenient handling, robust tripod and efficient light distribution.

Furthermore, the new version of the Wacker Neuson articulated joint trench roller will be shown at Bauma for the first time. With this new roller, customers get two machines in one: While in the past only the use of a roller with narrow drums was required for compacting very narrow trenches, customers with the new RT can simply detach the newly designed attachment drums, thereby reducing the operating width from 82 cm to 56 cm. After use, the attachment drums can be re-attached easily so that the full surface capacity is available for wider trenches.

Wacker Neuson will present some new products in the Zero Tail series in the excavator area at Bauma. Among others, the EZ28 (successor of the 28Z3) will be shown in a new look. The entire cabin concept was redesigned and now offers even more ergonomics and comfort. In addition, the popular front window mechanism of the ET series that was introduced in 2012 has been adopted. With this, the operator can easily and safely fold down the windshield.

In the area of compact machines, Wacker Neuson will also present alternative drive concepts and the study "Earth Movement of the Future" at the Bauma. "The topics of energy efficiency, economy and low or even zero emissions are rapidly gaining importance around the world. We are well positioned here for the future and at Bauma will once again show that our core competence lies in the development of market-oriented innovations," informed Martin Lehner.

"The course for growth is set. We want to penetrate the mature markets, such as Europe and the USA, but also grow strongly in the emerging markets. At Bauma, we are therefore very much looking forward to visitors from around the world," says Cem Peksaglam.
